Jeremiah turned eight this past Saturday. To celebrate he invited four classmates to join him, and yours truly had the honor of taking them all to Boomers in Fountain Valley on Good Friday afternoon.What a great time. Go carts, mini golf, pizza, video games and--as you can see by the picture above--bumper boats. It was a cool, overcast day and threatening rain, but 2nd graders have don't give a hoot about the cold and getting wet.
They were the only ones interested in going on the boats and they proceeded to soak themselves thoroughly. Each climbed out, dripping, like a sponge from a bucket.

that is seriously such a great picture!
Yeah, it's the kind of photo that if somehow they all still know each other in 20 years, they could have a good time trying to recreate...same poses, etc.
Great stuff! Can't wait to do this sort of thing. Sarah would never go to Boomers with me!
