Maundy Thursday

On the night before his death, Jesus takes a piece of bread, breaks it and says, 'This is my body given for you. Do this in my memory.' To do this in his memory is not primarily about repeating a ritual memorial service, but is about allowing his Spirit so to possess us that we see our lives as bread to be broken that others may live. This is to share in God's own life, expressed uniquely in Jesus.
