Podcasts

The iphone can be a distracting device and a frivolous waste of time, but it can also bring much light into one's life. One of the ways it shines light into my heart and mind is through the wonder of podcasts.

One of the podcasts I listen to religiously (pun intended) is Speaking of Faith. This morning I listened to an inspiring and very thought-provoking first person narrative--and follow-up interview--with professor Marc Mullinax. You can read it or listen to it here. Every American Christian should listen to this.

Other podcasts I enjoy and encourage you to check out are:

I'm open to signing up for others, so what do you listen to that you think would be worth my time?

I love the "This I Believe" series! There are also two books out with the best of "This I Believe," from the 1950's until now...You may already know about them, but I thought I would pass it along:)

That part about the students sending/receiving 300-400 texts per day is damn scary! I thought I was in trouble when I went to 200 a month for Sarah and me.
