His hometown of Plains, Georgia, and his church, where he still teaches Sunday school (when he's in town), is about an hour from our house. Dave has this Sunday off and was talking about going there!
This is exactly what people should do when they don't like it. Get out.
Now, in all fairness to our So. Baptist sisters and brothers, you know and I know that many of them hold to their views NOT to suppress or repress women, but rather to remain faithful to scripture as they see it.
Jimmy is entitled to his opinion, but I'm glad he didn't make a big stink and try to force a bunch of people into seeing things his way.

Oh, I hope you went. I would love to crash that Sunday school class and listen in on his teaching.
He may not have been much as a president, but I admire him deeply as a man.
