Interesting quotes from Benjamin, but judging from his appearance, he would have had a very dull brain, which definitely wasn't the case!
I thought the same thing but figured someone else would make the connection.
Perhaps he was just big-boned.
Perhaps, 'tho he didn't put beer in the equation. That might account for it.
Hmmm, you may be right. That is a "beerish" looking belly.
